i'm confused

Someone verify for me please, are we in the month of July or is it really October?  I don't think the temps today even got out of the 50's, if they did it was just barely.  I haven't been out taking photos lately so I thought I would show you some more bags that I have been working on.  I didn't have a pattern so I made my own.  I incorporated all the things I want in a hipster bag.  I even dug in the button tins that I got from my mom, who most likely got from my grandma and found a couple of neat buttons to add to the bags.
