Last night Mr and I and our daughter Erin headed to a Bluegrass & Gospel Festival.

The opening group...In a bluegrass band there are a few different instrument's played.

A... Dobro.

...banjo...

...mandolin...

and even a saw. Yes, that's what I said...a saw. This gentleman played Amazing grace on a saw. I thought it was nice...BUT...

Mr on the other hand, thought it sounded like a cat screeching. I caught this lady sleeping...If she was sleeping when the saw started playing, I'm sure it woke her up pretty fast.

This bluegrass/gospel group also was a comedy act that had everyone in stitches. They also were very serious as in the song they are singing here. They dedicated this song to the widows of fallen soldiers. Everyone in the place stood up.

The last act was Sawtooth...who were the youngest group of the night.

The fiddle player was the youngest proformer of the night, clocking in at 17 years of age.

Even tho we were probably one of the youngest watching, we had a wonderful time.
