My youngest is done with her Junior year of High School. I can hardly believe that. Where...Oh where...Did the time go? Since she plans to graduate early next year I thought of giving her the sewing kit that I was making.
I found a plain inexpensive box at Micheal's and covered it with fabric. I then added a few things that would be useful.
I found this totally cute pin keeper over at Happy Zombie to make. When I was a teenager I collected anything that was strawberry related. I loved STRAWBERRIES! So of course I had to make this.
It's been awhile since I've been in the crafting mood. I had fun making this and plan to make one for myself as well.
I even filled it up with needles and safety pins.
Making this pin keeper has gotten me in the mood to start making things again...YEAH!!!!
I really and truly haven't been in the mood to sew, knit or do anything. I don't know if it's because I'm working or that we have been on the go quite a bit. Who knows why. I just know that you might be seeing a few more creative things happening around here. I have something else brewing right now, but I haven't even started it yet so I can't show you or tell you about it.
