In just over a month daylight savings time starts...and I can't wait. The days are starting to get a bit longer but not long enough for me. Can you tell I'm being very impatient for Spring to come? I had to show you another purchase I made from last Saturdays road trip. I found this strawberry tea cup in an Antique shop. It's not an antique but I fell in love with it for the strawberries on it, so I had to get it to put on my strawberry shelf.
But, before it went on the shelf, I got an idea from blog surfing to put a plant in the tea cup. I thought that was the neatest idea and when I came home with this cup and saucer I thought I would try it, so I put and African Violet in it. So for now it sits on my kitchen table to bring me a little bit of cheer.
Speaking of cheer, I babysat our Grandson yesterday while his parents took his sister to have a procedure done. He came before he had his breakfast, so of course Grandpa had to feed him his special pancakes.
The cheer doesn't stop there, I received a package in the mail the other day from Niki. She sent me some dishcloths, look how pretty they are. Thank You Niki.
I also have to show you some Spring~like cheer. I found this cute tutorial over at Dutch Blue and just had to make it. I have it hanging in my bathroom right now, but I'm not sure that's where it will stay.
I hope you all feel a little bit of cheer after coming here. We still have a few more months of winter and we could use all the cheer we can get right now, at least I do.
You all have a cheerful day today.
