national tie one on day...
i just wanted to say...

baking day...

Apple pie, Pumpkin pie, all made today, with the help from Becky and Elaine.  I didn't make my apple ahead of time, I went to grandson Jared's Thanksgiving program at school.  I will have to try it another time.  The program was really cute.  I should have gotten a picture taken of the three of us in our aprons, but I didn't remember until after Elaine left.

It's been a busy day.  We awoke to Dan home being home this morning.  We didn't expect him until tonight.  That was a pleasant surprise.  Jason, Kate and the baby are coming this evening.   We won't have too big of a crowd tomorrow, just 14 adults and 4 children.

Again I am feeling a bit of sadness.  Once again Jake is deployed and we are feeling his absence.  Of course I am crying as I type this, I know this is how it is, but I just can't help myself.  I also know that with him being married now, he doesn't have the attachment to us that he used to have before he found Jennie.  I guess once a mother always a mother, no matter how old your children are, or the choices they make, you never ever stop being their mother.

So Jake if you do happen to get on-line and you read this, I just want to say I love you, and we all miss you.  I hope that you also have a wonderful Thanksgiving, we do have so much to be thankful for.  Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!
