I joined Kathy at Postcards from the P.P. in her monthly scavenger hunt. I haven't done it in a long time, and figured being down in Galveston for the month of January I would get some pretty good shots...and I did.
soft...
At the Moody Gardens Aquarium, the coral in the tanks were very soft.
2...
This one I wasn't sure I was going to find anything good, that is until we walked through the Rain-forest at the Moody Gardens.
blur...
Again, this was another word I wasn't sure I was going to get. I was really excited when I uploaded my photos and found this one of a penguin swimming underwater at the Moody Gardens Aquarium.
in season...
Wasn't sure what was "in season" in Galveston, but apparently farm fresh eggs are.
in my bathroom...
Well not exactly my bathroom but the one we used for a month. I loved the surf hooks and the surf photos that decorated the wall.
mess...
This wasn't too hard to find. Walking the beach after a storm, the shoreline was a mess from all the stuff that washed up.
information...
Information can be found on this plaque about the county officals and who they are.
company...
Our family came down to visit us on the weekends, missing are two of our daughters who were working this day.
warning...
I loved seeing the pelican sitting on top of the no swimming sign and the ship in the background.
odd...
There were many odd looking houses down on the island, but this one took top prize.
in the distance...
Sadie patiently watching Jim who is in the distance shelling on the shore.
entrance...
I thought this entrance was pretty neat. The island of Galveston was getting ready for the Galveston Mardi Gras. I'm not really sure if this was part of it.
I hope you enjoyed my photos for the scavenger hunt. It was really fun looking for them.
