I love the photo of your dog and cat.

Oh, I'm so sad to hear about Missy going missing. I'm delighted that Mister and Sadie are such good friends now. I have a confession to make, I thought Missy was the strawberry blonde cat, and Mister the gray. :) I became so fond of them when I first saw your photos, because they reminded me of two stray kittens that came and went in my family's life. They were the same colors as Missy and Mister, they showed up on our porch one night as we were coming home. They were feral, and very shy, I went in and brought out a dish of tuna. The strawberry blonde kitten came forward first, the gray held back until I moved further away. I fed them when they showed up each supper time, never saw them earlier in the day. They were both females, I called them Ginger and Mary Ann. They strawberry blonde after the first week would rub up against my legs and let me pet her,the gray never came close. I hoped I could make them pets, be able to take them to the vets and bring them into the house, but after a few weeks they stopped showing up. Any way, I love the photos and reading your blog articles. I've been coming here since last spring, and really do enjoy it.

Your squares are so perfect. I made a place mat and my squares are horrible. I cannot get the corners to line up. Maybe I will try again. Perhaps not. Sorry to hear the the kitty disappeared. When we moved to the acreage, I feared that the fox would get the cats, but they were not wanting to be locked in the house. Hope the sugaring is successful.

i love that they are sweet buddies! great! sorry about missy, tho.

Love all that gorgeous fabric you are working with! Can't wait to see what you are doing with the 9 patches. :)

Sorry to hear that Missy is not around. But at least Sadie has warmed up to Mister. Maybe Sadie will have a "talk" with Mister about how hanging around the feeders is not cool.

Have a wonderful weekend Judy!

I love your week' send posts! The photos say so much on their own.

You are going to be busy when the sap starts seriously running.

I like seeing the sap buckets out. It makes me feel like spring is really close now. I very much like the colours you've chosen for the pillow case. So cheerful!

Staying busy...always good. That meal does look yummy. I am sorry about the loss of your other kitty and hope that she has just found a new home elsewhere. Have a happy weekend.

Awww, sorry that little Missy has disappeared. ;-( Looks like you're good and busy and having fun. I hope you'll show us what's going on with those nine-patches!
