Isn't it exciting to see eagles? I do not remember ever seeing them as a child. Here they are plentiful through the winter. Love the photo so the sun and clouds. We had a good snow melt today, just in time for more.


These are gorgeous shots! I spotted an eagle at my neighborhood lake this winter but keep meaning to go to the larger lakes about 20 miles from me where they've bread for quite a few years. This post is another reminder to go. I love your winter wonderland view once you made it home too.

Wow, how wonderful that I kind of felt into your blog while googling on cupholders =) I will follow your work as well as your naturepictures.
I live in the middle of Sweden and have a Swedish friend in Oregon, and I have visited her twice. That have become my favourie Place on Earth... not just OR but all of what I hae seen on the westcoast... HWY101, Cedar Rapids, coastwiev, Red Woods, grapes and so on...
I have a embroiderymachine, an old one, and sew when I got the energy besides my job as a nightnurse =)

    I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger of Finnish descent...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
    I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
    I blog, knit, quilt, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
    There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
