he's beautiful. hope things are okay and will settle down for you again.

Lovely! We used to have them around our house all the time. But then came new homes next to ours. Now we have to go into the foothills to see them.

Beautiful bird - I love his colors and markings!

Those pheasants are beautiful things. I am sure that you are having more fun doing than reading!

Judy, these are wonderful captures!!! Aren't they so beautiful!

What a great capture! Pheasants are so pretty and I rarely see one even though I know they are around the area. It was great to see this one, thanks for sharing.

You were missed! Hope all is well.

Beautiful pictures.

They are such regal birds. I would love to have some at the farm. We don't have enough grain farms around to keep them from leaving.

He is gorgeous! Love that long tail. Haven't seen many around here this year.

I haven't seen a pheasant in years. They used to be pretty common here.

Candy C.

Since we don't have them around here I always enjoy seeing other people's photos of pheasants! :)

Great shots of the beauty!

Wow! those are amazing shots! Good to see you.

Wow. Stunning.

What a beautiful visitor you had there.

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger of Finnish descent...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, knit, quilt, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
