I really like that last shot.

The pics are great Judy! I surely don't miss those kind of temps any more. Stay warm!!!!

Your photos bring back great memories of my years on a farm.

Sounds like you are having perfect weather for knitting by the fire. Enjoy!

Now that is really cold. Hope you stay warm. We had a very nice day today, but it is supposed to snow tomorrow. We get THAT cold, though. Stay in by the fire.

I love the shot of the snowy road through the trees. We are supposed to get to -30 by Monday morning. Now that is cold! The governor has requested that all public schools be closed on Monday.

Beautiful winter scenes. Sounds like you are experiencing the same cold weather we have here!

really beautiful, judy. thanks for sharing scenes from my homeland. :) i get to enjoy it without suffering through it any longer. :)

Your winter scenes are wonderful.

I would say to keep them coming, but sounds like you need to stay inside! We have single digits forecast-ed for a few days.

I do enjoy your winter wonderland scenes - from afar warmer seat, Judy.

It's going to warm, which means freezing rain. I am not happy. We'll go from -18 today to a high of 30 in a day or two. Crazy weather.

That road looks mean, but beautiful. I especially like the first with the green birdhouse.

Love the Road shot! Looks slippery, though!

Hunkered down and staying warm! No school tomorrow. Looking forward to warmer weather. ~Joyce

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger of Finnish descent...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, knit, quilt, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
