How satisfying to have such natural and fresh food available to make a hardy soup on a cold winter day. And the best way to make it through a long, cold winter is to embrace it or move to Florida.

Ohmygosh -- that looks wonderful. I LOVE a big bowl of vegetable beef soup -- might have to make some this weekend!


These are definitely "soup days." Nothing better than homemade soup and bread on a cold day. Enjoy!


Nothing like a hot bowl of soup and homemade bread on a cold winter day. It has "warmed" up here in Western NY to the teens.


Comforting photo...embracing them is better than the alternative. Keep right on enjoying the great outdoors.

    I blog, knit, quilt, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
    There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
