Oh I hope that you had lots and lots to read. Will you do it again this year? The traveling to Texas and the slips of paper? I feel just as you do about resolutions...recipes for disaster. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, Judy

My celebration was very quiet, too, just as I like it.

We also had a quiet New Year's Eve--just Chinese take-out and TV. Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy New Year with many blessings!

I found your blog last year when you were posting photos of your trip to Galveston! I have loved following along this year as each photo is so fabulous. Happy New Year and many blessings.

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger of Finnish descent...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, knit, quilt, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
