That first photo is just classically beautiful. Worth putting up with the weather!

TexWisGirl

we had pretty heavy fog here in NE Tx, too, but no freezing or ice.

Kar

I would have stayed home also. Just stay at home and be safe. :)

Angela

I like fog IF I can be home.

Nancy

Lovely photos!

I hope you were able to reschedule the dinner with friends.

Vee

Hope that you reschedule soon! It's raining and freezing here today. Looking forward to a brighter day tomorrow.

Rose

We had rain yesterday evening/night...when I was letting the cat in about 2:00 a.m. was when it was foggy here. You would not believe how much snow is gone...what is most surprising is how little is left of the piles of snow.

BTW,your pics are beautiful.

What movies did you watch???

Barbara Neubeck

Wow.... that is scary weather...
Never having lived in areas where there is ice and snow I find the idea of going about everyday living in the Winter a bit overwhelming.....I truly admire how you and your family cope with the cold and snow........I'm happy with my rain and 'not so cold'...
your photo of the porch is beautiful...

That first shot is so beautiful. I would frame that one!

Bev

The fog is pretty!.. good choice ... I hate driving on icy roads!!... We are not going to make it east this winter... we have had kids for 2 weeks...and more are coming in Feb.... sorta glad listening about the weather in the east...

Cheryl

Fog is pretty if you don't have to drive in it. And ice is never good to get out on. Sorry your plans had to be postponed. Stay warm and safe!

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger of Finnish descent...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, knit, quilt, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
