Same here; although, it is not quite as cold nor do we have as much snow. Stay warm.

How sweet, fluffy and adorable looking!

That feeder looks well away from squirrels. I may have found a way to feed my birds without feeding the squirrels...smaller amounts of suet. They sure need a little extra help in this deep freeze.

oh, tiny babies!

The photos are sweet! Glad to see that the birds are taking advantage of your hospitality.

Bitter cold here, too.

Cute little group.

Nice captures, but hurrying to see that eagle that comes up next!

Oh how sweet of those little finch at the feeder!

Gorgeous little Finches. Stay warm, and stay safe, we hear the US is having terribly cold weather and lots of snow.

The birds are adorable.

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger of Finnish descent...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, knit, quilt, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
