It was another early morning rise for me today. I could hear the owls talking to each other, one near the cabin and another off in the distance. The quietness of the mornings I've been enjoying very much. We're still adjusting (Mr and I) to having my parents living with us. I'm not complaining, just saying. The parents are I know, are adjusting to living with us as well.
Since I've gotten older I've come to appreciate mornings, hearing the world wake up. Going out on the back deck to take these shots this morning, I could hear the cows bawling. I couldn't tell if it was the mommas or their young that were doing the bawling, or both. Our neighbor usually separates them this time of year and I've come to enjoy hearing them. Hearing the bawling pulls at my heart a bit, as the both of them aren't quite ready it seems to be separated.
When you think of it, people are not that much different from animals. We are adjusting to parent and child living together again, and momma cow and calf are adjusting to being separated.
Life is all about adjusting, no matter if you are a person or an animal.
