I was going to do a different post this morning, then I got a call from my daughter-in-law that my father had called for our son, that he thought my mom had a stroke. It looks like she did, she's having tests done and is not happy about being in the hospital which is a good sign for her :)
The weather here is not good and the weather for traveling is even worse. I'm staying put and then heading out of here as soon as the weather clears enough to travel. I'm getting the house in order and keeping busy until I can leave.
Right now I'm feeling pretty helpless and biting at the bit to head out, but I don't dare with the weather being so bad.
Please if you could, say a little prayer for my mom. I'm not sure when I'll be back on the blog, but please keep her in your prayers.

I found your blog from a blog we both commented on... I live in Southeast Wisconsin (Originally from Illinois too). Your photos are wonderful...I could look at barns forever! I will say a prayer for your mom and for safe travels for you too. Our moms are in Illinois (86 and 88). I know how difficult these phone calls can be.

I'll be sending out good thoughts and prayers for you mother and you. I know how hard this must be. My mother had a stroke on an airplane and I well remember trying to get to her although that was in 1990 so a long time ago. It's so frustrating and I hope the weather will clear enough for you to safely go.
