I have never worked with minky but love the feel of it...these are all soooo cute!

Kar

I have never worked with minky fabric before. I hear it's a bit of a challenge but so worth it when the project is finished. Very cute blanket! The hat couldn't be for a particular hockey team in Chicago, could it? Go Blackhawks!!!!

Traci

Wow - your gifts are so sweet - I'm going to guess the hat is for the Chicago Blackhawks. 26 grandchildren! Your family get-togethers must be amazing!

Congratulations. What wonderful news. The bib is so cute and to know that it is made by grandma makes it very special. 26? That would make some family reunion, wouldn't it? I have a hard time keeping up with 5.

Congrats on grandchild #26! I sure hope that's a Texans hat ;-)

My grandson loves minky blankets, although this Grandma has never made him one. His favorites are minky on one side and the bumpy faux sheepskin on the other side.

Randy

26 wow and I have my hands full with two cats. Love the Dr. Suess blanket.

Bev

Twenty six??!! Wow....

Nancy

I think it's wonderful that you are able to make such beautiful gifts for your new grandson. What treasures Judy. Congratulations on no. 26! :)

Congratulations! Oh my-26?? Sheesh, I just found out our second grandchild is on the way. I can't imagine! Your minky quilt, embroidered bib and handknitted hat are lovely-sure to be keepsakes. With regard to minky fabric, I totally agree with you. It makes a great snuggly warm blanket but cutting it is so messy. I didn't have any issues with sewing the fabric but my sewing room had fuzzies everywhere. Now that grandbaby #2 is on the way, I'm sure I'll do it all over again but will take the cut pieces outside for a good shaking.

Angela

Congratulations on Number 26! That is very exciting, and you look WAY too young for 26 grandchildren:)

Erica

Congratulations Judy. What wonderful news!
