I'm still recuperating from the quilt retreat. I don't usually stay up to 11:00 p.m. sewing, but we did and it was FUN!!! Lots of laughs and listening to our favorite songs that we haven't heard in a long time on the iPad. Here's the tree skirt/tablecloth top that is done. Now I just need to quilt it.
I forgot to take photos of the mini quilts that I had made. I was sooooo late on the February one, but I have a few days to display it, and I'm all ready to hang the March one.
Here's a few shots of what the ladies were working on.
We did not starve and each of us brought a meal so that no-one was bogged down being in the kitchen all the time.
I just loved heading up the staircase to bed at night, it's a 100 year old Victorian home and if walls could talk the stories they would tell.
I love going here to this retreat house A Great Place To Be, and if you are interested in going there too here is the website. I guarantee you will love it too.

i know a certain blogger who would love that ladybug quilt! i really like your tree skirt/tablecloth. the peppermint pinwheels are my favorite part. :)

You quilters sure do have a good time! My sister's an avid quilter and it's possible that you've even met up at some point. Me...I stick to knitting. Pointy needles and I get along. Sharp ones? not so much. :) I sure do admire your work, tho, and love that tree skirt.

Hi Judy,
Such a lovely retreat you've had - so cozy to work and chat together with your friends ... your work is beautiful - I like the different shades of green anf brown in your quilt!

What a really cool place to go. Years ago I read a series of novels about just such a place where quilters gathered. I'd have ask my sister in law the name of the series. You might enjoy reading them. I love your quilt.

Judy--I think I must have known you were a quilter, but again maybe I didn't. At some point recently I started following your blog and added you to my list because I really enjoyed some of your posts. Well...seeing you are a quilter just added frosting to my cupcake! :-) I have a separate quilting blog "piece-fulness" that you can access from my sidebar. Check it out! How exciting that you went on this quilting retreat! I've never done that, and would love to! LOVE that tree skirt--table topper! And your mini quilts also! I am from AL originally, lived lots of places, hubby from VA (my adopted second state) and now we are in Tucson AZ to be close to our daughter and her hubby and our only grandchild! I am enjoying blogging so much. Glad to get to know you a little better!
