yay! glad you are 'home' again. :)

Much warmer down there. Mom was mentioning how it was 50 there yesterday and she was freezing. I laughed at what would be a heat wave here. :)

I hope that was high tide because if it was low tide that trailer is going to disappear sometime during the day. LOL

I know exactly what you mean when it felt like home...that is what Yuma felt like 'home' even though it was just the second year!! And yes... the weather... I know I talked to a friend down south...she said it was cold...and I just laughed...give me that southern cold anytime!! And I loved your picture!! Have fun you guys!!

Glad you have made it safely. Hoping to see lots of photos.

Looks like a great place for a second home.

Randy

Looks like a wonderful spot.

Oh, you lucky girl -- to be a snowbird! Have a wonderful time!

Beautiful! We love Galveston. We sailed out of there for a couple of years aboard Splendour of the Seas. Not only is it so pretty there, the people are amazingly friendly and kind.

Greetings from very foggy Port Canaveral,
Lois

Very beautiful captures!

Oh what a beautiful spot. I do miss the ocean so much, haven't been to it in many many years.

Enjoy your time there and I can't wait to see more photos :)

A nice change in the weather, I'm sure! Where I live, I get cold when it's 50 degrees!

I love the bat picture. My husband and I went to Moody once when we lived in Houston, way back when. I'd forgotten all about it!

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
