One of the missions we visited was Mission Espada, it also was the last one we visited for the day. The stone walls were pretty much in ruin, and after a long day we thought we'd just quickly walk through.
That was before we spied a wedding just getting over.
We walked over and I started taking photos of the church that was in beautiful shape.
I snuck photos of the couple as their wedding was slowly winding down.
I didn't want to get in the couples way or the photographer, that was until I realized the "photographer" was taking the couples wedding photos with a cell phone, so I started to snap away.
When I uploaded my photos I saw the couple was looking at my camera.
The couple got married in front of the well. I think that's the most beautiful place to get married.
After the "photo shoot", I said to the bride and groom that I had hoped that they didn't mind me taking pictures of them, luckily they didn't. I asked for their e-mail address so that I could send them the shots I took.
As we were leaving another bride was getting out of her car to get married here. It sure was a busy place.

oh, i'm glad you'll share the photos with them! a cell phone? surely someone they knew would have had a camera for better enlargements, etc. oh, well.
it is a beautiful place.

They were lucky to have you there photographing. I know they'll enjoy getting the shots when you email them. Looks like a great spot for a wedding. I love the old stone with the bells and arches with bells. That style is very appealing.

How sweet that they will have some really nice pics from you from their special day. You are so sweet Judy! What a true Texan getting married wearing his hat and boots. :)

Hi! Thank you so much for coming by my blog and commenting on my Fridays fences! I had to check out your blog, and have just enjoyed these posts so much! This church in San Antonio is just amazingly beautiful! Our daughter and son-in-law originally planned to get married at Tumacacori Mission here in AZ and it's very rustic and I was very excited about their choice of venue. Then they split up for three and a half years, and later got back together, and ended up going away to Las Vegas to get married. We weren't even there. So, when I saw this venue for this couple, I was tickled pink! :-)
