Our daughter Erin came down last night and we went on an evening ghost tour on the Strand in downtown Galveston. We learned a lot of history and heard a lot of ghost stories. I took a few shots, and in this one I thought I could see something to the right of the stairs on the wall.
Can you see it?
Do you believe in ghosts?
I will admit that there are some things that just can't be explained, and I'm not here to dispute what people say they have seen.
Well, do you believe?

I do believe! My husband's great grandfather used to visit us when we lived in their house. It wasn't scary actually...I found it comforting. Is that a shadow in that stairwell?

Yes, I'll ashamedly admit, I "kinda" believe! :)

I think there are many things humans still do not understand so I keep an open mind about ghosts. I have never seen one...but once I did smell my grandfather's pipe many, many years after he died. My imagination may have been playing with my mind, nevertheless I felt comforted.

I don't know if I do or not but my maternal Great Grandmother, by all accounts a very sensible woman, once lived in a haunted house. I do know that I'd like to go on a ghost walk someday, I rather expect I'd be a bit "jumpy" though.

Indeed, I do believe. Wouldn't that a great blog: Ghosts stories? Probably already exists. The lighting in your photo is perfect. Glad so see that you getting to know the city. One my high school chums has or had an art gallery in Galveston. I don't know if she is in business. She is a former Miss Colorado. Have a fun week end.

I've never seen a ghost, but strange things happened in the house I lived in at the farm. So I have an open mind about them.

Surely there are happenings we can't explain. Many people call those things ghosts. :)

It does look like there is an apparition in the top right of the shot. Cool shot.

I keep an open mind about all things, there have been times when something has happened that I can't account for.

I agree, there's a lot of things that can't be explained... I'm not sure I believe or not... I just can't make up my mind... I'm like you, tho, I'm not here to dispute what ppl say they've seen... If someone I trust experienced something that couldn't be explained, then I'd have to say I believe.

I have to admit, too, tho, that I pray I never experience anything in my own home, because I don't believe God would give me a home that I'd be scared in!

Ghost tours can be fun. Not sure I see anything on the stairs though.
