San Antonio is great, especially the River Walk. So pretty down there. And the Alamo is amazing.

A vacation from a vacation. Sounds so wonderful. It may be chilly down there, but here it is darn cold: 15. I have always wanted to go to San Antonia. My brother lives close by in the hill country. So petty there. Enjoy.

Great shot of you and your husband. Bill has always had a beard, at least since we met in 1978. Bill's beard used to be brown but now it's the same color as your husband's. I like beards. The city in lights is so pretty.

What a lovely place to visit! My husband is in Dallas for the next few days. There's no place quite like Texas!

Great images of the River Walk. It has been a few years since I have been there. And, about that beard. I've never seen my husband of many, many years without his (very handsome!) beard. He would scare the grand kids terribly if he ever shaved it now.

I wish I had known!! My husband and I would have met you guys for dinner! We love the Riverwalk too! Glad you enjoyed yourselves! Pamie G.

Randy

That is one place I would love to visit.

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
