We couldn't take pictures inside the building, only the outside. I tried showing just how big the compound actually was. The red arrow I indicated was where I was standing when I took this photo...approximately. The yellow arrows pointing to the wall was where the compound was and now that wall is gone and buildings are in it's place.
I still have more photos. We both loved the structures of The Alamo and the 5 missions we saw.
We woke up to frost this morning, felt like we were back home :)

it is rather sad to see it encroached by 'city' stuff. such an older feel to it among the new.

I love all the old limestone that the Alamo is built out of. Having all the old trees around it on the property makes it just beautiful.
