I have seen this idea for both good things and for accomplishments. I will be doing it too. I'm very impressed with this photo - the lighting is beautiful.
Happy New Year!

Great idea. It reminds me in a way of a book I have called Simple Abundance: A day book of comfort and joy.

Happy New year to you and your family Judy. Enjoy your time in Texas :)

I've also seen that jar idea floating around, I think I'll make one but write down something every day, something that I feel blessed about or something good that happened.

Rose

That is a really neat idea....

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
