On Labor day we had a BBQ at our sons house. The grand-kids along with two of the neighbors grand-kids had a sandcastle making contest. It's neat that these are children of parents that used to play together when they were growing up.

How sweet!!! Looks like they were having a blast. And how neat is that about the kids parents playing together in the past. Awesome!!

Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
