Holy toledo, where did July go? I do have to say it was a pretty busy month. I've missed posting anything for 5 days, in that time we've had company and went to Illinois. I'll show you some more shots of our Door County vacation.
We took a car ferry over to Washington Island. The weather was just beautiful. I'll be posting 2 or 3 posts of this trip, as there are too many photos for one post.
Of course I had to take a lone shot of the Finnish flag,our heritage.
I'll share with you my new love. I found this camera bag on this blog. I've bought bags and purses of all kinds that will fit my camera when we travel or take day trips. All of them, pull on my shoulder, are too heavy, too bulky, and just plain don't work. When I saw this bag I thought, "What the heck, why not get it and try it out". So, on our trip to Door County I had this bag and let me tell you, I've found the camera bag that works for me. This bag is awesome.
More on this trip later.

I have wondered about those sling bags...one of these days I just may invest in one. I had a backpack one, but the zipper tore up...it was a generic brand. Then I got a big one...to carry both my cameras and gadgets....it is nice for a trip, but too much stuff for just daytrips where I plan to return home to download the photos...so I have been using a cheap, cheap thing I don't like for the rambling drives. Will check into this later....

Looks like a fun place to go. I enjoy ferries. Great way to get the car across water. Glad you found a camera bag you like.

Enjoyed your Ferry ride to Washington Island. It was raining so hard the day we had planed to go that the ferry trip was cancelled. Never did get to go.
