oh, rock on, sweet woman! 90! how grand! i sure wish you'd get rain!!! after last year, i feel the drought so much more intensely, no matter what part of the country it's in.

Kar

What a wonderful weekend! I only hope that I'm in that great of health at 90! It's so awesome to see someone like that.

Nancy

I hope to be alive in a nursing home at 90, let alone playing a mandolin in this heat. Bless her!

Barb

I hope I'm still able to stand when I'm 90.
You pita pocket looks so good, I think I have to go fix something to eat.
Thanks for stopping by.

Pam :)

Maybe its time for me to learn to play the mandolin. Bless her heart, she sure looks fit-as-a-fiddle.
Glad you had a toe-tapping good time, Judy.

Randy

Nice series of shots. The pita looks great.

Bev

Carver

I enjoyed this varied post. I hope you get some rain soon!

Rose

I would have enjoyed your day, except I would have been looking for a quilt shop!

Some 90-year-olds are amazing! I want to have that much energy when I'm her age too!

Thimbleanna

I'm seeing more and more dying trees around here too -- it's SO sad. That 90-year old, on the other hand, is looking good. And whatever is in that pita looks great too!

Amy

Hey mish mash is good. That pita(?) with veggies looks great. I should eat more of those.

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
