I hope your neighbors recover soon from the tree mishap. One never likes seeing things like that. But yippee for the rain. I hope things turn around soon as far as rain is concerned.

Ramona

I hope the tree didn't cause too much damage.
I bet the rain smelled amazing.

Randy

Happy you got some rain but I feel bad about that poor tree.

Thimbleanna

Love that last picture...hate that the limb fell on your neighbor. But oh, that rain looks wonderful.

Thank goodness for a new day. Storms are so destructive at times.

Jo

The storms have been so dangerous this year. Scary times!

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
