ELK

I would stick with the dehydrator also. I can imagine how good your house smells right now.

Randy

What a wonderful bounty. I have the worst luck with herbs.

Amy

We have some herbs and really need to do this. Thanks for sharing.

Fresh herbs are definitely the best! I especially love fresh rosemary and basil.

Rose

I am hungry just liatening to you and seeing those photos.

I love the way the herbs look in these shots. I have rosemary, sage, thyme, mint and oregano but used to also grow basil as an annual, camomile and others which slip my mind.

Angela

I have been contemplating getting a dehydrator but haven't yet taken the plunge! Let us know how you like it and if you think it's worth the expense (or should I just try the car method:)?

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
