Isn't that the truth. What a view!

Kar

You have to love being able to see those wonderful sunsets and having the darkness of night to see the stars also. Awesome!

Tricia

Ohhh so colorful & beautiful! I love it in the country =)

Jan

You are so right. Beautiful photos.

EG Wow, Canada

I agree that sunsets are more beautiful in rural areas. :)

Andrea

You certainly can't and no two are like. It's like a brand new painting every evening. Completely worth moving to the country and leaving our comfy cozy spots for. : )

Carver

That's a lovely sunset. Not sure why but you going out to whatch the sunset with your husband reminds me of how I used to interrupt my daughter when she was studying to go out and look at a particularly beautiful sunset with me. Sometimes she sends me shots she takes on her I phone of the sunset where she lives now when she's leaving work.

Rose

I can see beautiful sunsets here....but there is always so much distraction in the foreground that I seldom take a shot....

Di

We never got to see the sunset when we lived in Phoenix because we were completely surrounded by the city itself. It's one of the great things about living more rurally.

Pam

You are so right, Judy. Thanks for sharing the beautiful Ocooch mountains sunset.

Gina

So beautiful!

heyBJK

Gorgeous shots!

Nancy

Always different, but a joy to see... :)

Ramona

Gorgeous shot Judy. It's one of those things in life that still takes my breath away. And the best part,...... they're free. Like all good things.

Jo

Sunsets are a blessing to watch! We can't see the sunsets when we're at our place up in the mountains because it sets behind us, behind the mountain, but here on the coast, at the small beach on the harbor is my favorite place of all to see the sunset! I never tire of it :o)

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
