I had errands to do in town and on my way back I stopped to take this shot. The roads were starting to get bad on my way back home so I didn't get out of the car like I would have liked to. I worried about getting back up on the ridge and some hills can get pretty slick.
I was happy that I finished the hat I was working on, just in time for our snowfall.
Home safe and sound, watching the snow fall, my bread machine rolls rising by the wood stove. Since Jim has cut sugar out of his diet, I've been substituting honey when sugar is called for in recipes and of course whole wheat flour. Speaking of honey, here's a link to some pretty interesting facts about honey and cinnamon.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

glad you are safely home again. that photograph you took is really beautiful. really nicely done.

Judy,
Such pretty snow! I don't think we are due for snow but it certainly is cold enough!

Beautiful shots, Judy.. I remember those snowy days but thankfully RJ had a snow plow. Love your new cap and homemade bread rolls.
I use local unpasteurized orange blossom honey.
cheers :)

I love that top shot...and I like your toboggan..
and as for honey...there was a doctor on one Sunday morn and he said honey was better than anything available for stopping a cough. So, I had some on hand this last cold I had, and started the coughing where you can't stop...I took a big tablespoon of honey and it stopped it better than anything I have taken. And didn't taste bad and make me sick at my stomach.

I think the snowy picture is beautiful! I'm amazed you didn't have to get out your car to capture it. The had looks like it would keep the wearer toasty.
