Great! I've tried that, but patience is not my strong point. I'll just look at other's photos lol. Thanks for doing it!

I am so jealous of your woodpecker photo! That was very smart thinking to hide behind the curtains. :)

TexWisGirl

he's a beauty! :)

I'm in love with all woodpeckers, but mostly the Pileated. Just saw a pair swoop over our backyard last week, flying too high for a photo, but getting photos of one or two is high on my bucket list. Great shot you got!!

kar

He is quite pretty with his bright red head. Great idea getting the camera in camo mode. :)

That was so worth it Judy -- he's gorgeous!

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
