Wow, fall or autumn as I like to call it sometimes, is coming to an end here. In my county there's only one week left until the color peak. I ran to town yesterday and this is one of the beautiful streets covered with trees.
This is on the corner by the library where I was heading, so many beautiful trees in full color.
I've been busy knitting, sewing and helping move the felled trees that Jim cut down. I got the easy job driving the tractor and dumping the logs to their spot to be cut up at a later date. We'll have enough wood this winter to heat the house and for maple sugaring in the fall.
The knitting I can't show quite yet until it's in the mail. I've been a bad blogger friend and haven't had time to sit and visit other bloggers. I've been trying also to fit in some reading time as I'm in a book club. I'm still working on my socks but those got put aside for the newest project I started on. But I will finish them in time for the colder months when they'll be much more appreciated.

We really have a hard time fitting everything in our day don't we? Your fall colors are so beautiful. Here the colors really haven't been that spectacular. I keep waiting.

The autumn colours look magnificent, something we rarely see where I live. Love your last photo Judy, the first tree is wonderful and contrasts beautifully with the others.
