I saw your post on Nancy's today, and wish you had some of the trumpet vines growing here. They are a nuisance.I have one on my pergola which is really nice. It blooms every year and has made almost a tree of itself, but the roots spring up new plants everywhere and get to be worrisome. I will send you seeds when they develop(if you'd care to send me your address. My email is on my blog profile.). I'd would assume you could get them started easily from seed, but I don't know about sending a root,as to whether it could survive through the mail, or not.
I thought to post this barn for barn charm a while back. It shows just a bit of patriotism. This barn also has been turned into a garage. I hope you all have had a wonderful 4th.
I love nature and being outdoors. I have a new passion and that is photography. I try to share those photos on this blog. I also love to cook/bake, sew and knit, so you just never know what you're going to find here.
My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog.
Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
The writings and photos on this blog, belong solely to me. They might not be much, but they are mine. Please do not copy any of it's contents, in whole or in part. If you are interested in anything you may find on my blog, please e-mail me with the request.

That is so true. Just pop that jar open and eat it with a spoon, Judy. It's the best that way! :D

There is something so satisfying looking and seeing jars filled and lined up neatly. Nothing quite like it.
