I don't know how you find time to knit or crochet, quilt, sew, etc. etc. But I know you love it when things turn out so well! :)

Rose

Very nice--both of them. I have never tried painting on fabric. I don't know why...

As for hats...I love them but cannot stand to wear them. I always say I am allergic to my own hair cause where it is pressed against me...I itch and itch. When I worked at the orchard, even when it was below freezing all day long, the most I could wear was a headband that covered my ears...and still felt the urge to scratch.

Sarah, Lorelei's mom, on the other hand, loves hats and wears them....quite a bit.

Love the hat! It looks so cute on you. And the pillow -- well, I am amazed at how you always manage to come up with designs and patterns that work so well together. I'm sure the lucky lady in New Zealand will be thrilled with your creation. :)

Farmchick

I do like the hat, both the shape and color. It did turn out well. Love the pillow also.

Beautiful projects Judy! I'm thinking that hat will get a lot of use this winter -- you live in a cold area!

I've never been a hat person either because...well...next post I want you to show us your hair after wearing this awesome hat!:)

Fun! You are so prolific, Judy! I can hardly get my Christmas gifts done and here you are swapping worldwide! Your pillow turned out beautifully. Hugs!

Robin

Great hat! Looks almost pumpkin color! You're such a talented gal. :-)

Donna

Cute hat

That's one gorgeous pillow you made. So original to paint the front. I love it Judy and i'm sure your partner will love it a lot too!

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • My name is Judy and I'm the owner of this blog. Thank You for visiting.
I'm a...Wife...Mom of 11...Grandma to many...Homemaker and Blogger...living in a log cabin here at Gentle Hearth Farm.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin up on a ridge in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. My husband and I are empty nesters trying to figure out life after kids.
I blog, quilt, knit, sew, bake/cook and take pictures of just about anything.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose, and I try to live each day in the present, life is so much nicer if you do.
