Love the picture of the yarn in your lap. A wee bit jealous of your trip to warm sunshine...but so happy for you!

Recipe sounds delicious - can't wait to try it - thanks for sharing. Beautiful knitting - are you making a sweater?

I love that truck...got to go back to your other blog and see...i was just there but clicked to come here without thinking and 90% of the time I scroll down to see if I have missed anything.

Thanks for the recipe...I think one of these days I will try it.

That cheesecake looks delicious -- thanks for the recipe! I knit on the airplane all the time -- or at least I did -- haven't flown in 4 or 5 months, but you should have no problem. I hope the next week passes quickly for you!

I'm thinking ahead to my trip---I need to call the airline about bringing knitting! That cheesecake looks super yummy!

I wonder how much my husband will whine if I make him go to the store to get the ingredients for that....maybe I should just show him the picture and avoid the whining all together. Yum! Thanks for sharing!

Love the contrast of the black and whites with the colored raspberry cheesecake. Never thought of doing the American flag in monochrome - one's eyes seem to add the color.

Shawn

Your cheesecake looks so delicious, I am going to make it today! Thanks so much for sharing, wonderful pictures too.

I agree with some of the above posters... it sounds delicious. I'll have to give it a shot and post again once I've tried it.

Hello & Welcome To My World

  • Thank you for visiting my blog.
I'm originally from Northeast Illinois, and my husband & I now live on 20 acres in Southwest Wisconsin in the Ocooch Mountains, 10 miles from the nearest town. If I could, I would spend half a year here and the other half down in Texas...sigh...someday.
I'm a wife...mom...grandma...having raised 11 kids to adulthood, we are now empty nesters.
I knit, sew, quilt, bake, cook, take pictures...you just never know what you're going to find here.
There is so much that I want to do, but there is just not enough time in the day to do everything, so I have to pick and choose.
    But, life sure is good.
    Enjoy!
