It snowed last night and I love it. Sadie loves the snow too and after having been sent out to do her duty before retiring for the night she came in all wet. She loves to dry off by the fire in the wood stove. Man do I love that wood stove. You can see that we have been using it a lot this winter so far. But technically it's till considered fall/autumn isn't it?
Mr Wonderful tried out his new wheat grinder a couple of times already. He's made his bread and the other night he made some Pumpkin Carrot Muffins minus the carrots which we didn't have. So he rolled some wheat and put that in place of it. These were yummy!!!
The snow is melting fast this morning as there is rain mixed with it. It's more raining than snowing right now...Bummer!!!
It's so funny how many people really don't like the snow. There's an exit door by my work area and it's a full windowed door so I get to see what it's like outside during the day. I love it. I hate being stuck in an office with no windows. But, that's changing at the end of the month as the medical records department is moving to the basement of the hospital. Anyway...I'm getting off track here. Where was I? Oh yeah the door. We were expecting snow yesterday and I think everyone who works in the department came by that door to see if it was snowing yet. It was at 5 minute increments that someone came by and would say "Is it snowing yet?"...AND...They had to all comment on how much they HATED snow.
Finally their boss (who is not my boss) came by and looked out the window and I thought to myself...Oh no, here goes the boss putting in her 2 cents worth of complaint. Was I surprised and pleased when she turned around and said "Is it snowing yet? Is it snowing yet? Is it snowing yet?" And proceeded to ask her whole staff "If you don't like the snow, why did they live where it snows"?
I laughed and told her...AMEN!!
You all have a great day today!

Oh the muffins look yummy and I must say that I miss our woodstove so much. Central heating feels so cold after having our woodstove for 4 years.

Sadie is so cute! I like snow, as long as I'm not driving in it...and none of my kids are either! We are in the midst of a big storm right now and the snow is falling horizontally across our living room window with strong winds...it's an all day/night event into tomorrow morning, so we are officially snowed in.

I love the snow too Judy! Although, I prefer it with the temps that are closer to 32, rather than 0 -- not looking forward to the temperature plummet we're expecting tomorrow!

The muffins look yummy. I have to make some today with the two bananas that are way ripe.
I love the snow also. It's so pretty. I could do without the below zero temps we've had two mornings in a row. That's why you stay in where it's warm. :)

My kids want to see snow! We never get it in Malta. Just some hail every now and then in winter.

Move over, Sadie, for another snow lover! We have not had much yet but are due for more this weekend! Now ice is another matter!

We never get to see snow here along the gulf in Alabama. My kids just looked at your snow pictures on the computer and screen and declared "it's not fair". ;0) I do wish we could have just a little bit.
I love your blog. I'm usually a lurker and not a comment leaver!
Have a blessed week!

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed. Really a nice post here!
