We had some company this weekend. Our son Jason and his family came to visit. Our granddaughter loved helping Grandpa feed the chickens and roosters.
We got some visiting in and I finished the 3 button wrap that I had started last February. I think that's the last of the UFO's lying around...Other than the half started sock that I'm going to have to do some frogging on, because I can't quite remember where I left off at. I'm still working on the knitted cupcake purse and only have 3 more to go. Then I can start on the sewing gifts that I plan to make. Hmm lets see...How many days until Christmas? I can't believe that Thanksgiving is only just over 2 weeks away. Maybe to relax I need to do a bit more knitting.
I love the book called "It itches" by Franklin Habit. I always get a good laugh when I open up the book.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a great Monday.

That's an adorable picture of your granddaughter. It's scary how close Christmas is, isn't it?

Sorry I've been away. I just threw together a quickie blog entry. Nothing spectacular, but it's up there! :)
I've got lots of sewing I need to get finished, as well. I wish there were more hours in the day, but alas. . . .

How cute, out helping Grandpa. That is what they will remember most.
I've given up on the Christmas list this year on making things. Too much. And we are scaling down on the amount we are buying also. It gets to be too much.
Love the pic about knitting. I wonder if that is how my family sees me sometimes? LOL!!!

Your granddaughter is adorable. I am sure it is fun to feed the chickens.
The cartoon is cute. I get that way when I sew (which is the reason I no longer sew)! :)
I'll post those recipes tomorrow.
