My goodness, October just flew by so fast I think my head is still spinning.
So, how was everyone's weekend? Mine was very nice and relaxing. I made a couple of delicious apple pies. We bought some Haralred apples the last time we were in Minnesota. The guy said that you don't have to add any sugar with these apples and believe me you don't. I just added a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg and that was it. Yum!!!!
Did you get any ghosts or goblins coming to your door? We got the Berenstain Bears visiting...Papa, Mama, Brother and Sister Bear. We also had a pumpkin, a tiger and a bridal party knocking at our door. The tiger lives with us so it was fun watching her get ready for her first Halloween.
I did get some crocheting and knitting in and I finished one project and started another. I'm making myself a pair of wrist warmers. I hate to show them yet. I'm half done with the second one and I know if I post it I won't get it done. I sometimes hate making things where I have to make two of the same thing.
Now about the Pioneer Woman's new cook book...Sandra asked it it's really great. I think it's awesome!!!! I love the pictures and the recipes she put in look wonderful. I have made a few from her blog and so has my DIL and everything we have both made we have loved. I have a thing about cook books. You could almost say it's an obsession...I just can't pass them up. I'll have to show you my obsession cookbooks someday.
Have a good day!

I look at that truck every time I drive by! ;)
