Today is ABC Wednesday over at Mrs Nesbitt's Place, and the letter O. I thought and thought of O letters and wanted to be a bit different. This is what I came up with so I hope you enjoy.
O...is for Outhouse
This outhouse is only a decoration. My neighbor made this a few years ago for their backyard.
This outhouse I found outside an Antique Shop. I think this one is an original one that was moved from somewhere else. I'm not sure if they plan on using this as a decoration outside their shop or if they intend on selling it.
O...is for Octagon screenhouse
Thanks for visiting my ABC Wednesday. Head on over to Mrs Nesbitt's Place to see some more.

I love those photos, especially the outhouse. My grandparents had one until I was about 12 and being a city gal I loved using it. Us kids thought it was great fun. It smelled but we didn't I can even remember using the catalog for toliet paper once or twice when grandma would forget to leave some out there,.

The photo of the outhouse is great. One for decoration and not necessity is fun on a nice piece of property like that. Have a great day!

The first photo looks like a outside WC ! We had those on the countryside.

I too remember outhouses in use as a child.
Very original thought for O.

that outhouse is what we call a garden shed - these days you can octagonal ones and I think they get called gazebos to make 'em sound posh.

Your pictures are very nice but I'm so glad we don't have to use those now!

We had a bucket in ours - everyone struggled to avoid having to empty it! We put it on the list of things for Mum or Dad to do after breakfast, or it would overflow. I'm so glad for the flush toilet we have now!!!

Fine photos today! Your post it´s a little bit different but I found it very interesting! The garden house is very nice looking with eight gables and eight gable windows!

THat's a very attractive outhouse. How amazing that something so functional and probably regarded as a necessary evil is now a sought-after treasure1

I love the outhouses!! As long as they're only for decoration that is! The screenhouse looks like a perfect place to curl up with a book and a glass of iced tea on a hot summer afternoon.

Oh outhouse! I could have posted our luxury shed, built by hubby! LOL!

These outhouses have so much more personality than today's plastic Port-a-potty.
Thanks for visiting Jerusalem Hills. Shalom.

Fun ABC! In my childhood we had a outhouse. It was actually nice to sit there in the summer, and listening to the birds outside. But brrrrrrrrrrr to sit there in the winternights!

Oh a great choice for O, Judy. They are fun to see, from a distance anyway. You did find something a little different.

What fun! And what a relief we're in the 21st century. Is the octagon screenhouse yours?
Thanks for sharing.

In Alaska, the outhouse has become an art medium. You can get a whole book with photos of them. I had one with stained glass windows! A great O.
I love it.

Your post reminded me of my friend's annual Outhouse Races in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I can't say I've ever used an outhouse unless you count the port-a-potties. I like that octagon screenhouse. The bulb-like decorations outside add a nice touch.

What a cute choice - made me laugh - I actually remember my grandparents having a real outhouse.

Outhouse is a great choice. Plenty of those around South here. Thankfully I've never had to use one, though I suppose a port-a-potty is just as bad - or worse!

Super ABC Wednesday post--brings back memories of my paternal grandparents' home place when I was a little girl, scary memories.

Smart choice for O-post. We have a very nice outhouse at our cabin. But I did not think of that word.
